GHRC Formation

The Grand Harbour Regenaration Corporation was formed in 2007 with the aim of transforming a vision with an identification of twenty major projects to increment the value of the capital city ad complimentary urban surroundings of the towns and villages that are located along the shoreline of this natural harbour.

Our objectives remain predominantly focused to ensure that our Grand Harbour and its immediate surroundings which historically served this country for many centuries by way of generating economic, administrative and commercial activity retains this distinctive quality.

The Grand Harbour remains one of the regions that attract most visitors to experience its rich history, architectural heritage and unique setting.

The Strategy adopted by the GHRC is to obtain and acquire the necessary understanding of its business and to formulate a vision in line with its terms of reference as a constituted entity to foster growth and rehabilitation initiatives with the Grand Harbour Region.
